Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BitLife.ai collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information when you visit bitlife.ai or use our AI Visibility Audit, AI Profiles, assistants, website widgets, Opportunity research, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
AI Visibility Audit information.
When you request an audit, we collect the website address and other information you submit. We may retrieve publicly available website content and related public information to evaluate how clearly AI and search services can understand the business. We also process an audit access token and internal identifiers used to deliver and secure the result.
Account and authentication information.
If you create or use an account, we receive account identifiers and basic identity or contact information from you or the authentication provider, such as your name and email address. We collect account settings and information needed to verify access to owner-only features.
AI Profile and knowledge-source information.
We collect the business, professional, contact, location, service, experience, link, and other information you submit or approve for an AI Profile. We also process documents, website content, links, instructions, and other knowledge sources you choose to provide so we can generate drafts and ground profile assistants.
Assistant, widget, and lead information.
We process messages, prompts, responses, session information, and related usage details when a person interacts with an AI Profile assistant or embedded widget. If a visitor chooses to provide contact details or submit a lead, we collect the information entered and make it available to the applicable profile owner.
Opportunity research and outreach information.
For authenticated profile owners, we process editable watch settings, categories, exclusions, geography, research findings, reports, run history, notification settings, contact information, and outreach content needed to provide private Opportunity research and follow-up assistance.
Billing and subscription information.
If you purchase a paid plan, our payment provider processes your payment details. BitLife.ai receives transaction, subscription, plan, status, and limited billing information needed to administer access, payments, cancellations, and support. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers through the normal checkout flow.
Technical, usage, and support information.
We collect information about how the Services are accessed and used, which may include device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, pages and features used, referral information, cookies or similar technologies, internal event identifiers, diagnostic logs, and error information. If you contact us, we collect the communication and information needed to respond.
We use information to:
Information an owner approves and publishes to an AI Profile is public. It may be displayed on profile pages, used by the profile assistant, included in machine-readable discovery features, and accessed, indexed, cached, summarized, or otherwise processed by visitors, search engines, AI services, and other third parties. Those third parties control their own processing. Removing or changing a profile does not guarantee removal from third-party caches, copies, or systems.
Opportunity watch settings, findings, reports, run history, and related owner workspace information are intended to remain private to the authenticated profile owner. They are not published to the AI Profile, shared with its public assistant, or intentionally included in public discovery files. We still process that information through service providers as needed to operate the private feature and may disclose it when required by law.
Assistant and widget conversations are not automatically added to a public AI Profile. A visitor should not submit confidential, sensitive, or regulated information through a public assistant or lead form unless the profile owner has provided an appropriate secure process.
We may disclose information:
We may use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify an individual, subject to applicable law.
Information you provide may be sent to AI service providers when needed to perform an audit, generate or revise profile content, answer assistant questions, or conduct requested Opportunity research and outreach assistance. Do not provide information you are not authorized to process. Automated output may be inaccurate, and owners are responsible for reviewing content before publishing, sending, or relying on it.
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, operate requested features, understand usage, diagnose failures, and measure product performance. Browser controls may let you block or delete cookies, but doing so can prevent parts of the Services from working correctly.
Some browsers offer Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals. We respond to legally required signals where applicable. Because standards and legal requirements vary, other browser signals may not change how the Services operate.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, account or feature status, legal requirements, security needs, and operational purpose.
Deleting an account or content may not immediately remove backup copies, security records, records we must retain, information already provided to a profile owner, or public content copied or cached by third parties.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and using appropriate care when deciding what information to submit or publish.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding personal information, or to appeal a decision about a privacy request. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights may be subject to exceptions and verification requirements.
Account and profile controls may let you update or remove certain information. To make another privacy request, email bitlife@bitlife.ai. Please describe your request and the account, profile, or interaction involved. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing email by using the unsubscribe option in the message or contacting us. We may still send operational or account-related communications.
BitLife.ai and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use an appropriate legal basis or transfer mechanism.
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
The Services may link to or interact with websites and services that BitLife.ai does not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to their practices. Review the privacy policies of those third parties before providing information to them.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services and applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. When appropriate, we may provide additional notice.
Questions, concerns, and privacy requests may be sent to bitlife@bitlife.ai.
